Early doors so quiet. Immaculate and very clean, toilets are spotless. Food was very tasty and served really hot, nan was the fluffiest I've had for years. Waiters were all friendly, polite and pleasant. Most enjoyable.
Got a lamb phall with mushroom rice and it was beautiful, full of flavour and the best one I’ve ever had.
Visited Spices for the first time yesterday evening, despite having lived in saltburn for many years. A lovely welcome environment, a calm space great to catch up with a friend over food. The service was very kind, welcoming and non-intrusive. The portions were also great, I had some food left and was kindly offered a 'take out' box without requesting myself! Really respect this as other establishments occasionally make this option less visible / awkward to request - perfect in a world were we are more aware of food waste. I look forward to returning again and trying out more things on the Menu. Thank you!

Quality curries and good service. The Jalfrezi was particularly excellent. The onion bhajis were also top notch. Glad we found this local Indian restaurant, we will eat there next time we are in the U.K.!

What a place - me and my partner are here last night and it was amazing. We were immediately welcomed at the door and the waiters were so friendly. Food arrived very quickly and tasted great. We did order too much, so they put it in takeaway boxes for us. They asked why we didn't eat much of the other dips with our poppadoms and we explained that we are really big fans of mango chutney. With the takeout, they gave us a more! Its the little things that go the long way and this place has them. (mint in drinks, ensuring our food was ok) If we're on holiday in saltburn again, definitely would come back here.
